Employment Issues We are recruiting now abs Medical Transcription Services is currently looking for qualified MTs with at least 2 years Ophthalmology , Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Cardiology, Urology, Respiratory or Neuropsychological transcription experience. Must have high speed internet connection. Positions may be full time, or if you prefer we can contact you regarding transcription opportunities for specific specialties on a part time fill-in basis. That way you can keep your full time MT position elsewhere and earn some additional income by being part of our absMed team. Please visit our vacancies web page for details. MT Requirements. In general terms, MTs we hire must have proven knowledge in the required medical transcription specialty for which they are hired. Our MTs are required to commit to a legally enforceable "subcontractor agreement" before being accepted by abs Medical Transcription Services. We strictly limit our outsourcing of work to MTs within Canada. We do not endorse or recommend any particular MT course or educational program. In our hiring of MTs we consider the overall person.
